Buying on FSX
I need to change some of the Information in my FSX Buyer AccountNot a problem! Please login to your account and go to Account Management. You can edit your account information, including contact details, billing and shipping addresses, etc.
I forgot my passwordYou can reset your password by logging into your account and going to Account Management and Change Password.
My organization is tax-exempt - what should I do?When checking out, you’ll find a link where you can upload a copy of your tax exemption certificate.
How do I modify a purchase I’ve already made?
Once your order has been placed it cannot be modified. This allows Sellers to offer their items at the lowest possible cost.
How do I cancel my purchase?
Once your order has been placed it is highly unlikely that it can be cancelled. If you determine that you made a mistake on your order after it has been confirmed by a Seller, you can contact the Seller through the My Orders tab on your Buyer Account Page or you may contact FSX customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will attempt to cancel the order. Please keep in mind that each Seller on FSX has their own policies regarding cancellations.
How do I check the status of my purchase?You can check the status of your FSX purchases on the My Orders tab on your Buyer Account Page.
When will my order arrive?
- Each Seller on FSX handles the shipping methods and details of your purchase according to their own policies. Typically, orders ship within 5 business days. You can check the status of your purchases by logging into your account, going to Account Management / Track Orders. There you’ll find your Purchase History. Select the order in question and you’ll find four clickable links: Documents, Track parcel, Contact Seller and Issue with this order.

Can I use my own UPS or FedEx account?Not at this time, the Seller controls the freight on FSX website, buyers cannot specify their own carrier.
What shipping methods are available?Each Seller specifies the available shipping methods for the items they are offering on FSX.
How are the shipping costs calculated?Sellers on FSX offer either Free Shipping or Zone Shipping, as displayed in each product listing on the site. With Free Shipping, the price you pay includes all shipping costs. With Zone Shipping, the shipping cost will depend on the ship to address you provide.
Can I specify a specific delivery time?Yes. There is a place to list special delivery notes on the checkout page.
Can I ship to multiple addresses?Yes, although you will need to create a new order for each additional “ship to” address.
Can I ship to international locations?Currently, Sellers are only shipping within the continental U.S. Shipments to other countries are currently not available.
Can I ship my order to a PO or APO/FPO box?Shipments to PO boxes or APO/FPO is not available on FSX.
Can I ship my purchase to a residential address?If you’re planning to purchase equipment, especially large items that are commercial grade, they are most likely designed for use only in a commercial kitchen environment with very different requirements for delivery access, power, cooling, floor-loading or ventilation and other variables. Be sure to check these requirements by reviewing the full product details on the product information page or contacting FSX customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org before making a purchase for something that cannot be delivered to or installed in a residential setting
I have a coupon I want to use are there any limitations?The coupon terms are as follows: While supplies last. [Must enter unique coupon code at checkout.] Offer may not be combined with other promotional offers or discounts. [Maximum discount is 15% of the total purchase price. Offer not valid on previous purchases and may not be valid on all items. Offer valid only on email@example.com through the offer date and time. Terms and conditions of each offer are subject to change at the sole discretion of FSX. Void where restricted or prohibited by law. Discount is offered by FSX and not by any individual seller. In the event a partial or full refund is obtained, the discount will be subtracted from the refund value. Customer may be required to pay applicable sales tax related to the use of the coupon. One coupon per person. Void if altered, copied, sold, or transferred. Not redeemable for cash. Coupon redemption information may be disclosed to FSX partners.
Can I pick-up my order?On FSX, shipping methods are specified by the Seller. There is a place to list special delivery notes on the checkout page where you can request order pickup however the decision is up to the Seller.
Something is wrong with my purchase, what do I do?
- It’s always a good idea to inspect items while they are being delivered, especially larger items.
- For items delivered by common carrier, be sure to indicate the damage on the bill of lading presented to you by the delivery service. If there’s an issue with your order, please contact the specific Seller with your questions and requests for return or exchange.
- You may do this by logging into your account, going to Account Management / Track Orders. This will take you to your Purchase History. From here you will select the order in question. Once there you will see four clickable links. Documents, Track parcel, Contact Seller and Issue with this order.
I never received my order - what do I do?If your order is missing, use the Issue with this order page to contact the Seller. You may do this by logging into your account, going to Account Management / Track Orders. This will take you to your Purchase History. From here you will select the order in question. How do I return my purchase?Each Seller on FSX handles returns directly with Buyers. You can find each Sellers return policies on the Seller’s page of the site. You may also contact Sellers with specific questions by logging into your account, going to Account Management, Track Orders. This will take you to your Purchase History. From here you will select the order in question. Once there you will see four clickable links. One that says Documents, Track parcel, Contact Seller and Issue with this order.
Does my purchase come with a Warranty?Each Seller on FSX handles item warranties. If you can’t find warranty information on the product information page or you can contact FSX customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org. After you have placed an order you can contact the Seller for more information by clicking in the order and Contact Seller
How do I pay for my purchases on FSX?
- Orders can be paid for with most major credit cards and PayPal. To pay with your bank account you will need a PayPal account.
- You may combine up to 2 credit cards on any one transaction.
- If you’re planning to pay directly from your bank account by electronic transfer, you’ll need to use a PayPal Account.
- Purchase orders are not accepted.
Do you only sell to businesses?Anyone can register as a Buyer or checkout as a guest on FSX. If you’re planning to purchase equipment, especially commercial grade equipment, please keep in mind that most of this equipment is likely to be designed for use only in a commercial kitchen environment with very different requirements for delivery access, power, cooling, floor-loading or ventilation and other variables. Selling on FSX
How do I become an Pre-Approved Seller?If you are a commercial food service industry participant we welcome you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about becoming a Pre-Approved Seller.
What payment types does FSX accept?Buyers can use most major credit cards and PayPal. If a buyer wants to pay with their bank account they will need a PayPal account.
Can I share contact info with Buyers?Our terms of service require that all communication between Buyers and Sellers take place via the FSX site.
When will I receive payment for items sold on FSX?In most cases, you’ll receive the proceeds of any sale within 35 days of having shipped the items. There is a 21 day hold on the payment from the time of shipment. This allows time for Buyers to confirm that items received meet the specifications and conditions as described in your listing. FSX initiates payments on the 1st and 15th of each month, subject to weekends and holidays
How is Sales Tax handled?FSX will manage the collection and payment of applicable sales tax for all transactions on the platform for those states requiring collection. You’ll receive a monthly report summarizing your FSX sales tax activity, including details on sales taxes collected.
How do I manage returns?Your Seller account includes features to manage any returns.
Can I charge a restocking fee?
Sellers on FSX set their own terms regarding returns, which can include re-stocking fees.
